The short version

Some outbound links to retailers are affiliate links. If you buy something after following one, we may earn a commission. You pay the same price either way.

What that does not buy

Which products we cover, and the order they appear in, is decided on the specifications before commission is considered. No manufacturer or retailer pays us for coverage, placement, or a rating, and none of them sees a page before it is published.

How to tell

Affiliate links are marked, routed through /go/ on this domain, and carry rel="sponsored nofollow". A disclosure appears above the first affiliate button on every page that carries one, as required by the FTC's endorsement guides (16 CFR Part 255).

We do not test machines

Nobody here has hit a ball into any of this gear. Laser Oracle is a specification site: every figure on it is read from a manufacturer's own manual or specification sheet, or from the retailer's listing, and every one is published with the date it was read and a citation you can check. Where a maker publishes nothing, the page says so rather than filling the gap.

This applies to the whole site, so the individual pages no longer repeat it. If you want a verdict from someone who has used the unit, that is a different kind of site and a good one to read alongside this.

Prices change constantly and any price shown here is the price at the moment stated next to it. Amazon prices are shown only where sourced from Amazon's own API within the last 24 hours, as their terms require — in practice the catalogue refreshes every three hours, because legal and accurate are not the same thing. Always confirm the current price on the retailer's site before buying.
