What Laser Oracle counted hereThe figures above, in full, with what they do and do not prove

Laser Oracle tracks nine co2 laser cutters on Amazon and measures every listing against the specifications that actually decide the purchase. Of the nine we currently hold, four state cooling: integrated or separate chiller and five do not. That gap is the finding. These are not obscure figures: they are the ones a buyer needs before choosing, and they are missing from the listing that is doing the selling. Prices and category rankings come from the Amazon Product Advertising API and are refreshed every three hours, so no figure here is more than 24 hours old; all nine carry a live price at the moment this page was built. A listing that omits a specification has not told us the product lacks it.

What is selling on Amazon

“Stated in the listing” means the seller printed the figure somewhere in the title or the bullets. It is not a verification, and “not published” is a fact about the listing rather than about the product.

What the listings state, and what they leave out

How many co2 laser cutters listings state each specification
SpecificationListings stating itWhy it decides the purchase
Tube wattage9 of 9Tube wattage sets the thickness the machine gets through in one pass. It is the headline number on most listings, and the ones that omit it are usually the ones with the least of it.
Working area5 of 9No working area statedA CO2 machine is bought to cut sheet material, so the bed size is the constraint on every job. It is also where listings quietly quote the frame rather than the usable area.
Cooling: integrated or separate chiller4 of 9Listing does not say how the tube is cooledA glass tube is cooled by water moving through it, and running one without cooling destroys a consumable worth a meaningful fraction of the machine. Desktop models often integrate it; cabinet machines often expect you to supply it.
Pass-through8 of 9No pass-through statedA pass-through slot lets material longer than the bed run through the machine. For signage, or anything longer than the working area, it decides whether the job is possible at all.

A count of what the listing says is not a count of what the product does. A seller who omits a figure has told us nothing about the product, only about the listing, and these rows are worded that way on purpose.

Working area, in one unit

Dimensions quoted from the listing. The conversion to inches is our arithmetic.

The middle column is the seller’s own wording and the right-hand columns are ours: millimetres divided by 25.4. Sellers in this category quote in whichever unit flatters the machine, and two beds that sound similar can differ by half again in area, which is the number that decides how many parts fit on one sheet.

How these figures were producedSources, refresh cadence, and what we do not claim

Nothing on this page is a review. Laser Oracle does not test machines and does not claim to, and the brands that dominate this category publish no specification documents to cite either, so the listing doing the selling is the only thing there is to measure. Every claim quoted on this page is the seller's own wording, and the counts are our measurement of those listings rather than of the products themselves. Prices and category rankings are read from the Amazon Product Advertising API and refreshed every three hours. Listing wording is read on the date shown on each product page, and every count is taken again whenever the catalogue changes.

Questions people ask

How thick can a CO2 laser cut?
It depends on wattage, material and how many passes you are willing to run, and manufacturers quote it under conditions they choose. The number to look for is a single-pass figure for a named material and thickness, because a multi-pass claim can be made by almost any machine given enough time and enough scorching at the kerf.
Does a CO2 laser need a water chiller?
A glass-tube machine does. The tube is cooled by water moving through it, and running one without cooling shortens a consumable that costs a meaningful fraction of the machine. Desktop models often integrate the cooling; larger cabinet machines usually expect you to buy or supply a chiller, and the listing does not always make that obvious.
What is a pass-through slot for?
It lets material longer than the bed run through the machine, so a long board can be cut in sections without being cut into sections first. If you make signage or anything longer than the working area, it is the specification that decides whether the machine can do the job at all.
How long does a CO2 tube last?
A glass tube is a wearing part with a rated service life quoted in operating hours, and it dims before it dies — output falls off gradually, so cuts that used to take one pass start taking two. Treat the tube as a running cost rather than a one-off, and check whether a replacement is available for the machine before buying it.
