Beds and tooling
Fabric lifts, curls and moves under the air assist. A honeycomb bed with the sheet weighted flat is the difference between a cut line and a wandering one.

Fume extraction
Synthetic fabric melts rather than burns and the smoke it gives off is denser than wood smoke. It has to leave the room rather than be spread around it, and no machine here ships with anything that does that.

Optics and safety
Eyewear has to match the wavelength the machine emits, and the two are not interchangeable. A CO2 tube emits at 10,600nm and a diode at 450nm.
